As previously mentioned, one of the best things about having an over-the-top streaming service dedicated to wrestling, and being the ones producing content for it, is the luxury to focus on the details. Theres been plenty written and said about the Monday Night War between WCW and WWF before, but never in this amount of detail. Each episode of Monday Night War focuses on the soldiers that fought those battles, and singles out specific wrestlers or factions and spends an entire episode of them. Whether its Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho or the Cruiserweight division, everyone was drafted into the Monday Night War, and everyone had a part to play. This series tells their stories in an honest way thats kind of surprisingly critical of WWE at times.
