20 Reasons Why Last Night's WWE Raw Was An Absolute Mess

1. PANIC!

Vince McMahon's decision to shotgun book a hot-shotted Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan WWE Championship rematch was born of pure panic last night, with the duo reprising their rivalry for a sequel to their acclaimed WrestleMania 35 thriller in the show's main event, crafting a bout that was never going to feel anywhere near as special as the original.

A solid match cannibalised by two commercial breaks, but nothing outstanding. Regardless, that this contest even went down speaks volumes to the creative team's lack of ideas. This was them throwing a Hail Mary into the sky, praying that Bryan vs. Kingston II would save their dying show, because they don't know what else to do.

Vince has no more aces up his sleeve. He has run out of magic tricks, and nothing, with viewership in chronic decline, he is resorting to WrestleMania rematches just one month after the 'Show Of Shows' itself.
