17. Confused Announcing

The slapdash nature of this week's Raw came out several times throughout the show's three hours, including a couple of moments where it seemed like the announcers genuinely weren't clued in on what was supposed to be happening.

Ricochet's emerged for the eight-man tag team match, prompting Michael Cole to question whether or not he had officially joined the Raw roster. He did the same thing when Aleister Black came out, too. Later, Corey Graves gave Lars Sullivan's destruction of Rey Mysterio a similar response, quipping that the Raw roster must be wishing 'The Freak' would be sent to SmackDown.

Ricochet, Black, and Sullivan's switches were confirmed later in the night, but why sow seeds of confusion in the first place? It built no intrigue and only gave the impression that the show was still being written on the fly.
