Worked shoots are lame. There are exceptions, but most come off like sub-Russo level bullsh*t, and own the writers way harder than any intended targets. Enzo Amore and Big Cass' recent invasion of Madison Square Garden was a good example of how to do it right: The IIconics backstage interaction with Bayley on this week's Raw was the opposite.

Sasha Banks' name has dominated wrestling media since WrestleMania 35, with rumours that she'd tried to resign from WWE after the event morphing into 'The Boss' reportedly refusing to turn up for work this week. WWE addressed this on Raw. Bayley was backstage, trying to get her tag partner to call her back, opening her to mockery from Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, who challenged 'The Hugger' to find a new sidekick to face them.

This facilitated Naomi's Raw debut, but the clear shot at Banks felt childish and petty. You can argue that Sasha's recent actions come off the same way. This shouldn't matter, though: the company should rise above such things if they're trying to take the high ground in this apparent labour dispute.
