20 Reasons Why WWE WrestleMania 36 Was An Absolute BLAST

7. Catharsis

Edge vs. Randy Orton was flawed and yes, it went on entirely too long, but what matters most, after all this, is that Edge finally got his catharsis. He defeated 'The Viper' in the most emphatic fashion.

Nailing his own Con-Chair-To on Orton was the perfect way for Edge to end this. It was the taste of his own medicine that Randy deserved after all he'd put Edge through and as wrenching as it must have been for Edge, the character, to go through, he has finally killed his albatross. 'The Viper' has been put down.

It's just a shame it didn't go down without so much bloat. Nonetheless, the booking was on point.
