20 Things We Learned From Brock Lesnar On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast
9. WrestleMania 20 vs. Goldberg
Steve brings up the following year's big event: Lesnar's match against Bill Goldberg. Both men were leaving the company and the match turned into what Austin called a "clusterf*ck", and Brock said it's because neither he nor Goldberg wanted to be there. Stone Cold points out that it was WrestleMania 20 and asks why he didn't want to be there and he responds with "because I didn't give a sh*t." They then show the footage of Brock giving the finger and he says that wasn't meant for the fans, it was meant for Vince. Austin asks what went wrong, pointing out that Brock was only two years in. He said it was the business, the road and the people and that he was becoming a person he didn't want to be. He mentions that there were times he wanted to punch a hole in the plane and jump out. "I've told Vince plenty of times. I'm meant to be in the ring. I'm not meant to get to and from the ring."
