1. Hell In A Cell vs. The Undertaker
Now we get into a bit of kayfabe blurring, which is always bizarre when they drop all pretenses throughout the remainder of the interview. Stone Cold brings up Brock's upcoming match within the ominous cell structure against his rival The Undertaker - putting over the match itself and the physical toll it takes on the competitors - and asks what his thoughts are on the bout. Lesnar says he's prepared for it, calls the cage very unforgiving and says he'll guarantee there's going to be a lot of carnage.
"I'm coming to end The Undertaker. Quite frankly I'm kind of irritated with him; I'm over it. Like I said, I've got a chip on my shoulder and I'm coming to hurt his man."
Well, that's it. It saddens me to say that this was easily the least enjoyable of all the Network podcasts and that includes Stephanie McMahon and her 60 minutes of corporate double speak. At no point was Brock comfortable and he gave very short answers to most of Austin's questions. Knowing his personality we really shouldn't have expected anything else. Despite the fact that all signs pointed to it not happening, I'm sure there was a small part of most of us who were hoping for the two stars to run some kind of angle that would ideally pull Austin out of retirement for a huge match at WrestleMania 32, but this podcast definitely drove a nail through the coffin of those foolish hopes.
