3. Jake Also Slammed André The Giant

The timeless image of Hulk Hogan hoisting André The Giant above his head for a slam at WrestleMania III has been replayed countless times. On the pod, Joe Rogan was in awe of Hogan's strength, though he did realise that André did most of the work to get himself into position.

One thing he didn't know was that Jake had also slammed the giant. The only problem was that Roberts didn't mean to do it, and he didn't know André planned to do the spot.

In the middle of a routine house show match between the pair, André roared at Jake. "Slam me", he said, as though it was the easiest thing in the world. Confused, Roberts ignored him and continued throwing punches. The irate and frustrated monster then somehow managed to spin his body up into Jake's arms and repeated his request.

Roberts felt his legs shaking and heard a loud crack. Left with no option, he threw the hulking beast of a man down as hard as he could and the live crowd exploded. Just like Hulk Hogan, Jake had hit a slam on André.
