20 Things We Need To See From Lucha Underground Season 2

1. Evil Versus Evil

Fénix, Mil Muertes' opposite number, is also holding a championship that guarantees a shot at Mil's Lucha Underground title. Therefore, no one stands a chance of dethroning Mil Muertes until he and Fénix have their fated showdown. Standard wrestling storytelling says so! Well, except that one of the reasons we love Lucha Underground is that it's far from standard wrestling storytelling.

Post-Ultima Lucha, there's another warrior just as poised to challenge for LU's top prize: Pentagón Jr. He may not have poetry or destiny on his side, but he does have all the momentum in the world, and a newly-minted vampire sensei who had said he's "ready." The two most evil luchadors in the promotion going head-to-head for its biggest prize would be an awesome spectacle, especially since both men are also beloved by certain segments of the believers. History's first simultaneous heel vs. heel/face vs. face match, with all the demonic trappings? Yes, please.
