20 Things You Didn't Know About The Undertaker
12. He Didn't Hold A Single WWE Title From November 1991 To March 1997
Despite being one of the most statuesque and iconic wrestlers of all time, 'Taker's title history has been sporadic at best, especially earlier in his WWE career.
Though he scooped his first WWE Title reign at Survivor Series 1991 by defeating Hulk Hogan, he lost the strap just six days later in a rematch at This Tuesday in Texas, and wouldn't win any other WWE title of any kind until March 1997, when he defeated Sycho Sid at WrestleMania 13.
And even then, 'Taker only ended up booked in the main event after Shawn Michaels' back injury forced him into retirement.
While it might seem ridiculous for such a popular wrestler to get so little title love at his physical peak, 'Taker has consistently proven himself a perennial star with or without a title around his waist.
