20 Times WWE Was An Absolute Mess In 2019

13. The Undertaker Vs. Goldberg

The annoying thing about The Undertaker vs. Goldberg is that the veterans were legitimately on their way to a fun Super ShowDown match before things went awry, with the duo operating under Paul Heyman's preferred Big Move Buffet remit to good effect. Regardless, what transpired after big bad Bill brained himself on the ring post was the definition of an absolute.

It was sloppy, shambolic, and legitimately dangerous, with a concussed Goldberg almost dropping 'Taker right on his head as he botched a Jackhammer into a Brainbuster. The former WCW Champion was clearly away with the fairies. He collapsed in a genuinely scary moment after the bout and Undertaker looked mortified by the end, clearly embarrassed to have taken part in a farce that had absolutely nothing to do with him.

On a positive note, the bout seemingly inspired The Undertaker to roll back the years in an awesome performance alongside Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2019, while Goldberg rebounded with a similarly satisfying squash of Dolph Ziggler.
