20 UFC Prospects Destined For Big Things In 2020

13. Maycee Barber

The UFC's women's flyweight division is currently ruled with an iron first by current champ, Valentina Shevchenko. However, there's a very strong up-and-comer in, Maycee Barber, rising quickly up the rankings and looking for her shot at the throne. The 21-year old is undefeated in her career and has looked pretty savage in her pair of fights inside the Octagon.

In both of Barber's UFC bouts, she competed against JJ Aldrich and Hannah Cifers, two solid fighters who are far more experienced than her. However, her skill and aggression was too much for either, and she overwhelmed them both.

Much like other fighters of her generation, Barber is a pretty well-rounded individual. She mixes up her striking, takedowns and grappling exchanges extremely well and packs some good power for her size.

Her one special quality is her ability to use her aggression without getting reckless. Although she's constantly in the face of her opponents, she's always focused and never wild with her attacks. The fact that she already has that at such a young age really bodes well for her in the future.
