20 Wrestlers For WWE's Latin American Tournament

7. Kalisto (Mexico)

As he was born in Chicago, Kalisto is actually Mexican-American. In the tournament, he'd naturally represent that Latino heritage rather than Illinois; most casual WWE fans probably think the former Cruiserweight Champ grew up in Mexico anyway, so his diverse background wouldn't cause much of a problem.

Kalisto is on the hunt for something that will bring him back to shows like Raw and SmackDown. There, he briefly flirted with the United States Title before being demoted to 205 Live and the Cruiserweight ranks. That's not an insult to the Cruisers either. WWE themselves treated Kalisto's arrival on 205 like a downgrade.

Shining against his heroes and some fresh talent may let Kalisto display why Samuray del Sol was one of independent wrestling's finest names before WWE picked him up and rebranded as part of the Lucha Dragons tag-team.

Kalisto is crying out for something to do besides multi-man tag matches.
