20 Wrestlers For WWE's Latin American Tournament

1. Rey Mysterio (Mexico)

The surprise return of Rey Mysterio was one of the Royal Rumble 2018's highlights. Rey has been busy since leaving WWE in 2015. Retreating to his homeland (where he knew he'd be a big star and rake in the cash), Mysterio worked shots for AAA and on the independent circuit before landing in Lucha Underground.

Credit where credit is due, the legend is in the best shape he's been in years. When watching him perform trademark moves at the Rumble, one wouldn't know that his knees are knackered from decades of flying around the ring.

Now fit and better off for taking a break from WWE's agonising schedule to heal himself, Rey Rey can use 2018 to prove why he's one of the best luchadors ever.

Winning the Latin American tournament would be the perfect launching point for Mysterio's second wind in WWE. If he hasn't already been signed to the main roster by the Summer, Rey is the best candidate to take it all and carry the torch for Latino wrestlers.
