20 Wrestlers You Totally Forgot Held WWE Championships

11. K-Kwik (Hardcore Champion)

Everybody knows R-Truth, but few remember his past life as K-Kwik. Little Jimmy’s best mate has had two major WWE runs split by a long spell in TNA, and his first commenced in November 2000. Kwik debuted to attack William Regal during a match with Road Dogg, with whom he’d soon form a rapping tag team who’d perform their theme song, “Gettin’ Rowdy,” on the way to the ring.

Road Dogg & K-Kwik did little in the tag division, however, and their union lasted just a couple of months. Road Dogg was suspended and released by WWE in January 2001, and K-Kwik was left to fend for himself.

As a singles wrestler, Kwik was primarily used on Jakked, but he started competing for the Hardcore Championship in February. He goes down as one of dozens of competitors to hold the belt for less than an hour after defeating Raven for the belt on an episode of Raw, only to drop it to Crash Holly a few moments later. Kwik won the belt back a few days later, but history repeated, and Crash took it back again.

As R-Truth, he is a former United States and Tag Team Champion, but his early years are often neglected.
