20 Wrestlers You Totally Forgot Wrestled For AEW
17. Ariane Andrew
Hands up who cared when Ariane Andrew cropped up in AEW. No one? Of course not.
Formerly known as Cameron of the Funkadactyls, she had last wrestled on a house show on 6 March 2016, with her release coming two months later on 6 May. When she debuted for AEW on 29 July Dynamite, viewers were left dumbfounded. She showed her face, confirmed her position as Nyla Rose's tag partner for the Deadly Draw tournament, uttered her catchphrase, and that was it. What?
Ariane looked considerably better in her sole AEW match than she ever did in WWE, but it still wasn't a memorable debut match. She and 'The Native Beast' were eliminated in the first round of the tournament by Tay Conti and Anna Jay, with Andrew taking the match-ending manoeuvre from the latter.
