I'd actually forgotten about this part of the match. Having already done enough to cement this match's status as the most brutal in WWE history, Foley decides to kick things into an even higher gear, and retrieves a conspicuous sack from under the ring. JR and Lawler feign ignorance, but it's soon revealed to contain thousands of thumbtacks. Of course, it's Mankind who winds up taking this particularly painful bump, leaping unwisely onto the Undertaker's shoulders and finding himself driven backwards into the tacks. One of the competitors - probably Mick, let's be honest - decides that one bump isn't enough, and they repeat the spot with a chokeslam for good measure.
