This was either a huge upset or totally unsurprising depending on who you ask. Yes, Godderz is extremely strong and the Knockouts' placement in the World Title Series was never really much more than a novelty, but given how Kong pretty much owned Godderz for the majority of the match, it was hard not to be disappointed when he rolled her up and held the tights to steal the win. Plus, with Gail Kim losing to Tigre Uno earlier in the night, it re-affirmed that their place in the tournament was just a gimmicky formality. Sure, neither of them was every going to win, but it would've been super-cool to see one of them end up in the final eight and have to face another male wrestler.
