16. Pope: "Davey Richards With That...Whatever He Calls It"
During the match, Richards nails an impressive Springboard Roundhouse Kick, nearly beating Hardy, at which point Pope says, "Shades of the Great Muta, Davey Richards with that...whatever he calls it. I'm gonna have to look into that." Josh then asks him, "Why don't you get Lil' Pope to do it?" (referring to the Pope action figure he always has at his announcing desk), to which Pope replies, "Well, he's still hungover." It's fine if a commentator doesn't know every single move a wrestler pulls off, but maybe don't draw attention to it? He could easily have pawned it off by saying "A devastating manoeuver from Richards" or something equally formulaic but acceptable.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
