Owen beats Goldust, so DX appear on the big screen and mock him for defeating a false champion - but wait! Here comes Commissioner Slaughter. Predictably, he explains that Triple H's plan has backfired, and that he will be awarding the European Championship to Hart as a result. The crowd goes mild. This must surely be one of the lamest title changes in WWE history. It doesn't make Hart look particularly strong, and it only succeeds in making Triple H look like a bumbling idiot.
