Dean Ambrose told AJ Styles that he defeated The Phenominal One the last time they met in a WWE ring.

WTF, I thought. I couldn't remember seeing AJ and Dean going at it one-on-one on a televised WWE event...

Turns out the pair's last meeting happened on RAW a couple of months back. Although, in Dean's role as a squeaky clean babyface, I'm not so sure why he brought it up.

The climax to that match saw John Cena come down to ringside as it took place at the height of the Styles/Cena feud. AJ leant between the ropes to attack his now former foe, which allowed Dean to roll him through and hit Dirty Deeds for the win. An interference gifted Ambrose victory.

I know Dean showed heelish tendencies in his brief feud with Dolph Ziggler, but he had to in that instance because Ziggler is as good a guy as they come in 2016. Here though, he's against an out-and-out heel in Styles so why is he bringing up an underhanded victory that took place in a high profile match? He should be a little bit ashamed of that win, right? Am I too old fashioned?
