13. Wade Barrett: New Yorker (Dead Man Down, 2013)
Dead Man Down was part of a move away from wrestler-led features for WWE Studios, and as such, it boasted an impressive cast of Terrence Howard, Colin Farrell, and Noomi Rapace. That didn't stop WWE from casting Wade Barrett in small role, though - the former Intercontinental Champion played Killroy, a henchman (lots of henchmen on this list) of Howard's Alphonse Hoyt. The charismatic Barrett had no trouble pulling off the mostly-silent role, but when Killroy did speak, it was with a New York accent. Wrestling fans used to hearing the Lancashire-born Barrett speak in his normal tone of voice were undoubtedly puzzled by the low rent Tony Soprano soundalike they saw/heard in the film.
