No, that's not Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo in a mask, and no, this wasn't a repackaged gimmick for some old Olympian. That's Ken Patera you're (probably not) thinking of. Instead, Pantera was a Mexican star who worked some shots for the WWF during the early Light-Heavyweight Title days.

He was part of Vince McMahon's short-lived desire to boot Eric Bischoff's WCW in the ass by replicating their heralded Cruiserweight division. Pantera would go on to wrestle Taka Michinoku at IYH: No Way Out Of Texas in February 1998; that'd end up being one of 17 matches he'd work in total for McMahon's league.

Some of those, like Águila's run, happened on the Super Astros spin off show. Others fell on Shotgun, but Pantera did get to work a few times on Raw, and he always came across very well. It's just...well, his time with the company was always going to be short.

The 57-year old still wrestles in his homeland to this day.
