Title Lost: Intercontinental Championship Lost Title To: Chyna This is another infamous title change, as Jeff Jarrett dropped the Intercontinental Championship in a Good Housekeeping match to the first female to hold a major title, Chyna. The Ninth Wonder of the World had been competing with the men for several months, and Jarrett began their feud by attacking her over a period of several weeks with various household items: a frying pan, a coffee can and a toaster. There have long been stories that Jarrett help the IC title hostage since his contract technically ended before No Mercy and demanded a kings ransom to appear and lose the strap. Regardless of how much truth there is to those stories, Jarrett left for WCW the next day and has never appeared in a WWE ring since. Chyna, meanwhile, enjoyed a two-month reign as IC champ. She and Jarrett would meet up again 12 years later in TNA, but the less thats said about that, the better.
