20 WWE Elimination Chamber Facts You Didn't Know
6. WWE Title Scene
When this year’s Elimination Chamber show was announced, many had assumed—myself included—that Seth Rollins’ WWE Championship would be involved in eponymous match-type.
However, it was later revealed that this would not be the case; Rollins is set to defend his belt against Dean Ambrose in one-on-one action.
But this isn’t the first time that the WWE Championship has been on the line in a non-Elimination Chamber match. In 2013, CM Punk and the Rock were exempt from Chamber duty as they did battle in singles action, while at No Way Out 2008 John Cena and Randy Orton did the same, with the Chamber match used to determine a new number one contender.
