3. Yokozuna Vs The Undertaker (1994)

Unable to defeat 'The Deadman' thanks to his paralysing fear of caskets and Taker's mythical powers in general, Yokozuna had to go to extreme lengths in order to escape with the title and hand Undertaker his first ever Casket Match loss.

After a middling ten minutes, Undertaker nailed the champion with a huge DDT, flooring him long enough to roll Yoko's gargantuan frame into the casket.

It was at this point everything got a little bit silly.

With Yokozuna lying prone in the coffin, heel ally Crush emerged before Undertaker could close the lid, pouncing on the Deadman. Before Undertaker could regain control, in came Mr Fuji's henchmen Kabuki and Tenryu. Followed by Bam Bam Bigelow, Adam Bomb, Jeff Jarrett, The Headshrinkers and finally Diesel.

As the heels eventually subdued Undertaker, Yokozuna would steal Paul Bearer's urn and remove the lid, releasing thick clouds of green smoke that apparently represented all of Undertaker's powers. This proved the literal death blow, as Taker was then easily pushed into the casket for a shocking Yokozuna victory.

To cap off the insanity, as the heels celebrated and wheeled 'The Deadman' away though, his face appeared from inside the casket, promising future redemption in a long soliloquy, before a ghostly figure levitated from the coffin and floated out of the arena.
