20 WWE Royal Rumble Undercard Nightmares

13. Bobby Lashley Vs Test (2007)

One of the last eye-popping adverts of a WWE yet to strictly enforce its Wellness Policy, the ludicrous physiques of both champion and challenger in this match at least provided distraction from the utter boredom generated from them actually having to wrestle for seven minutes.

Billed as 'God's Gift to ECW', Test would have made a useful heel on the rebranded Extreme Championship Wrestling had it not been for the fact that it was built around similar monsters such as The Big Show and Lashley himself. Blending in on the rudderless roster, Test was simply another crash test dummy for Lashley to plough through as the company desperately tried to rush him to the top of the card.

The stale atmosphere created tepid title defences such as these, where Big Bobby was rarely in peril, particularly during a confusing conclusion in which Test simply decided to walk away for a count-out defeat rather than continue the suffering any further.

A damp squib with no justification to even be on the show, it was unsurprising that both guys were gone from the company by the time 2008's Rumble rolled around, with Test's drug test failure unfortunately foreshadowing his tragic passing at only 33 in 2009.
