Despite the likes of Hulk Hogan and John Cena ruling their respective roosts, it’s talents like Randy Savage and Seth Rollins who many see as the MVPs of their day.

Debuting in the then-WWF in 1985, Savage spent the rest of the decade proving that he was just as capable as an intense, calculated heel as he was as a pumped, erratic babyface. Regardless of what side of the fence Macho operated on, there was always the guarantee that he’d be at his very best in the ring.

As for Seth Rollins, the current WWE Champion is one who many believed was a brilliant, natural babyface after his time in ROH, but who has proved that he is one of the very best heels of today. Added to this, he’s also arguably the very best in-ring talent on the current WWE roster, as indicated by his #1 ranking on the recent PWI 500.

The Macho Man is a bona fide legend of the industry, but the early stages of Seth Rollins’ WWE career have certainly shown him as a talent who can be at the very top of the game for years to come.
