20 WWE Superstars And Their Signature Bumps

12. Rey Mysterio: The Slip 'n' Slide

Note: spot occurs at roughly 3:30.

Even in his slightly pudgy late career, Rey Mysterio Jr. is much lighter than most wrestlers, and most of his matches are constructed around that basic fact. Rey tries to build momentum, because after a certain point it becomes undeniable and he'll bounce you to death like a super ball that throws ranas, but if you can throw him at the ground it's devastating.

One of Rey’s favorite ways to illustrate this is by having an opponent literally bowl him out of the ring. Like, they’ll grab him by the seat of his pants and fling him under the bottom rope like the world’s driest slip n’ slide. There's always a satisfying *SMACK* when Rey Rey hits the ground, too.
