20 Years Of DX: Where Are They Now?

Though not specifically due to his membership in D-Generation-X, Mike Tyson's work with WWE in 1998 represents one of the better gambles Vince McMahon ever took. Then banned from boxing after gnawing a chunk of Evander Holyfield's ear off the prior year, the ultra-controversial Tyson's name was largely mud in boxing, but he was hot property to mainstream news outlets.

His introductory segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin on the post-Royal Rumble '98 edition of Raw was transcendent, and a blistering follow-up in which he revealed his allegiance to DX ahead of Shawn Michaels' WWE Title scrap with 'The Rattlesnake' perfectly fit his villainous mould.

A huge wrestling fan, 'Iron' Mike looked to have the time of his life during his brief era-defining tenure, and would spend one more night in green and black when he appeared as the guest host of the January 11th 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Siding first with Chris Jericho against Triple H and Shawn Michaels, Tyson swerved on his partner to reveal a DX shirt exactly as he had done in 1998. As Michaels had done at WrestleMania XIV, it was Jericho that took his famous right hook for the crowd-pleasing finale.

Tyson entered the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012, and remains a public supporter of the company to this day.
