Sin Cara’s former tag team partner has had a middling time on RAW since the draft. The 'King of Flight' picked up a shock win over Braun Strowman, although that only led to Kalisto being utterly annihilated by the 'Monster Among Men'. After recovering from hip and cervical trauma, Kalisto had a brief beef with Apollo Crews, before retreating back into obscurity.

Kalisto then moved into the cruiserweight division, even going so far as defeating Enzo Amore for the championship. The feeling is that the horse had long bolted however, and the Lucha Dragon’s arrival on 205 Live was about 14 months too late.

After a 2016 that promised much, 2017 has been a frustrating year for the former United States Champion. Kalisto looks void of confidence on RAW these days - one can only hope that he manages to regain some of it in the new year. Let the man go out and have thrilling matches with the other performers in the cruiserweight division and all will be fine.
