14. Scott Hall Cuts Larry Zbyszko Close To The Bone
Check out the look on Larry's face here while Scott Hall is cutting a scathing promo on him just five days before their clash at Souled Out. Hall comes out to talk about the match and from out of nowhere starts ripping into The Living Legend with a great, heated tirade. The nWo original talked about how Larry was washed-up and, even though he calls himself the AWA Champion, he was only the champion because everyone else had left and that the company went out of business while Zbyszko was on top. Ouch. Hall goes on to say Larry isn't even the best wrestler/announcer in WCW because Larry isn't a patch on Dusty Rhodes (who broke Scott Hall into the business), which is a nice line that foreshadows things to come. Larry sold it beautifully and looked genuinely enraged at Hall's comments and got up to leave the broadcast position, teasing a confrontation with Hall as Nitro went to a break. I loved this. Excellent build to Zbyszko/Hall at Souled Out.
