6. The Undertaker Vs. Triple H (WrestleMania XXVIII)

After Shawn Michaels had his Undertaker-induced retirement, DX bosom buddy Triple H took on the task of trying to defeat the Deadman and end the streak. His first effort came at WrestleMania XXVII (AKA the bad one), where he succumbed to the Hell's Gate submission, but not before severely injuring The Undertaker and taking him out of action for nearly a year. Humiliated by such an ignoble victory, 'Taker asked Hunter for one more match so he could get revenge. Daddy Helmsley acquiesced, but on the condition that the match be under his terms: a Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.

Obviously, unlike his matches with Shawn, 'Taker's encounter with Triple H was going to rely more heavily on spectacle and storyline, but damn if the crowd didn't eat it up. 'Taker and Tri pummeled the bits out of each other, and even HBK got in on the action, delivering a superkick to 'Taker which Hunter complimented with a pedigree, a combination which 'Taker managed to kick out of, much to the utter shock of the Miami crowd.

This match was full of emotion, grit, and was well deserving of the "End of an Era" moniker.
