21 Years Of WWE SmackDown Mistakes

18. 2002 - The Ballad Of Al & Dawn

It didn't seem like watching SmackDown could get as hard as the contents of Al Wilson's y-fronts during his genuinely bizarre underwear wedding to Dawn Marie, but his happy (?) ending a few weeks later managed to bury the angle six feet under the low bar it had already set.

Bereft of charm and charisma, it took Torrie's Father stripping down to his drawers during a salacious wedding to the manipulative Diva for the world to see at least one big reason why he'd be able to offer her a killer time on the honeymoon.

The attraction was fatal. Dawn and Al had such a good time doing the bad thing that he literally went to heaven. Post-wedding, WWE booked Al's death-by-f*cking - presumably just to give Vince McMahon ideas on ways to go himself one day, if he absolutely has to.
