Another Slammy Award ceremony and another good angle was robbed of its impact as the Nexus/John Cena feud was ended with the anti-climax of Cena being rehired. It just seemed to make the whole angle a bit redundant, and took something away from the Nexus power. Yes it was done under conditions, but a TLC match against Wade Barrett and a show-ending dust-up with David Otunga werent exactly difficult to overcome. Prior to that, it was interesting that Cena picked up the Slammy for Superstar of the Year without even having had a job up until shortly before the announcement.
