19. I'm Trying To Be Kind Here - The Wrestling Is Dreadful

The opening match of the show sees Ken Shamrock take on Faarooq, with nation members Kama 'The Godfather' Mustafa and D'Lo Brown watching on from ringside. No sign of The Rock yet, the Intercontinental Champion conspicuous by his absence. Anyway guys, the wrestling is dreadful. I don't think anybody would have expected Shamrock and Faarooq to put on a clinic, but almost every spot is botched, sloppy, or just poorly executed. It's a gelatinous blob of a match, and not a good omen for the rest of the show...
