22 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown Live (August 2)

There were a few WTF Moments during that AJ Styles and John Cena promo, so let's deal with them in one foul swoop!

First of all, I've got to mention AJ Styles calling himself The Elite of WWE... you all know why that's a bit of a WTF Moment, don't you? With AJ's connections with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in New Japan Pro Wrestling, dropping the name of their faction on WWE programming saw AJ oversee the implosion of the internet.

Next, we have John Cena who said he'd been turning out for WWE for 15 years... last time I checked 2002-2016 was 14 years. Yes. I'm THAT guy who picks up on meaningless moments like this.

Then we had John Cena who messed up his own catchphrase when he said "honour, loyalty and respect" instead of the traditional "hustle, loyalty and respect" that we've been preaching for the last decade or so. I know honour is a far more prestigious and clean-cut word than hustle, but you can't go changing a catchphrase just like that after such of lengthy run.
