22 WWE Stars From The 2000s That You Totally Don't Remember

3. Marcus Cor Von

Monty Brown was tailor-made for WWE. He had an American football career, playing for the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, before retiring due to an ankle injury. He decided to give professional wrestling a try and he was one of the stars of TNA during the company's early days. With an impressive physique, undeniable charisma and excellent finisher (The Pounce) he should really have gone far in WWE. But he didn't. In fact, you might not ever remember his stay there at all, despite the fact he appeared at WrestleMania 23. Brown, wrestling as Marcus Cor Von, debuted on the ECW brand on January 16th 2007. He was gone by June. Brown never had any standout matches in the company and was more often than not wrestling as part of the New Breed tag team (along with Kevin Thorn, Matt Striker and Elijah Burke). Brown left the WWE in June for family reasons and never returned. He was officially released a few months later.
