23 Times The Undertaker's Ego Ran Wild In WWE

9. The MMA Style

Another hobby from his real life that Undertaker indulged in WWE was his love for Mixed Martial Arts. He took the nickname "The Phenom" from UFC's Vitor Belfort, in addition to taking the "Big Evil" nickname as a take off from UFC's Jens "Little Evil" Pulver. He really fancied himself as a legitimate tough guy. But the most noticeable aspect of his love for UFC was when he started doing MMA moves in the WWE ring. He started throwing punches like a fighter would, in addition to working on a ground game with triangle chokes and other submission holds. In later years, it became a successful aspect of his game, but when he first started with this style in the early 2000's, it was roundly criticised by fans. He was viewed to be further selling The Undertaker deadman style down the river, in favour of his own self satisfying interests.
