Dick Beyer was known as 'The Destroyer' during his 39 year long career, and that nickname couldn't have been more fitting. The masked man won championships in the NWA, AWA, All Japan during his time as 'The Destroyer' and 'Dr. X', and his life story was summed up expertly by close friend Vince Evans in a book titled 'Masked Decisions' in 2011.

He was 88 years old when he died on 7 March.
