Tom Phillips was rightly complaining that the shark cage used to lift Paul Ellering above the ring didn't stop The Authors of Pain's manager from getting involved.

I know it looks good and harks back to a bygone era in wrestling, but Tom's right you know.

I have a solution... just ban Paul from ringside. Make him stay in the back and he certainly can't get involved with any goings on in the ring.

That cage simply isn't fit for purpose and looked stupid when you considered the other options available to keep Paul away from interfering.

Kudos to NXT for having the match end as a result of action between the two teams though, and not as a result of Ellering's tinkering. That would have been far too obvious in the face of him looking like a trophy on a mantle while hanging above that ring.
