It's a rather lame spot that's been done a bunch of times before, even though most WWE fans know that pyro doesn't really burn (remember when Goldberg always walked through it?). Cena gives Rusev an Attitude Adjustment into the pyro set-up by the set entrance, causing a number of explosions to go off, all while JBL tries to sell the viewers on the fact that Rusev could be horribly burned, even though it's blatantly obvious that he isn't. Pyro stunts like this are almost always cheap-looking and unconvincing, but that didn't stop the WWE trying to make a brutal spot out of it nevertheless. All it led to was a few minutes of Rusev rolling around on the floor in agony and basically just wasting match time.
