8. Lana "Quits" For Rusev, He Loses Three Consecutive PPV Matches

And finally, the match ends with one of the biggest bulls*** finishes in recent memory, as Cena rakes a collapsed ring rope over Rusev's face, and Lana decides to run into the ring, shouting "He quits! He quits!", at which point Mike Chioda then rings the bell. The commentators try to paper over the stupidity of it all by saying that Rusev was saying "I quit!" in Bulgarian, but this was promptly debunked by Bulgarian viewers on Twitter. This wasn't a "He quits" match, so if John Cena can still be in the match after losing consciousness, why on Earth was Rusev allowed to lose because his manager spoke up? This isn't a "throw in the towel" match: Rusev has to quit of his own accord, and he didn't do that. Plus, this means that, rather predictably, Rusev has lost three straight pay-per-view matches against John Cena, which makes no sense. Cena doesn't need to benefit from this, and all it does is bury Rusev with the Golden Shovel of Doom. Terrible booking on every level, and much like last month's dodgy Seth Rollins RKO finish, it shows a lack of respect for the audience by cheating them with Vince Russo-esque swerve endings which abandon established rules and logic.
