WWE's booking team always tends to get lazy when planning out matches featuring more than three wrestlers: various Money in the Bank and Fatal 4-Way matches over the years have shown how the bookers will always try to focus the match on two wrestlers at once while everyone else just writhes around on the floor in agony, and that was certainly the case with Randy Orton during Payback's main event. Granted, the guy had just been put through a table by The Shield, but did he really need to be taken out of the match for 7-and-a-half minutes? It reeks of lazy booking and doesn't really make much sense either.
