25 Biggest WWE Epic Failures Of 2016
12. Bray Wyatt's Brief Babyface Run
Other than just recently, 2016 was not a great year for Bray Wyatt, who wasn't in action at either WrestleMania 32 or SummerSlam in addition to sitting on the sidelines with an injury for an ample amount of time in the spring.
However, those terrible first few months of the year were almost worth it when it was teased the night after WrestleMania that Wyatt was finally turning babyface. He, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan laid out the remaining members of League of Nations, seemingly setting up a match for Payback. The following week, Wyatt put his differences aside with Roman Reigns to defeat League of Nations and the crowd reacted to Wyatt as a fan favorite in a major way.
Wyatt should have turned at the peak of his popularity years ago, but it was better late than never. Of course, as fate would have it, he suffered an injury that same week during WWE's tour of Europe and was taken off TV for two and a half months.
It was only logical to bring him back as a babyface, but once he returned after Money in the Bank, he and the rest of the stable stayed heel. Their feud with The New Day was decent, but it was almost as if that long-awaited face turn from after 'Mania never happened, and now the wait begins until he turns again.
