25 Coolest WWE Superstar Entrance Videos

When used effectively, WWE's "Big Screen" can tell us an awesome story.

While the quality of storylines and creative writing may be inconsistent in WWE, there's no denying that the company has a first-class production team that always delivers the goods. From their stellar pay-per-view intros, to various music videos, recaps and build-up montages, WWE can strategically use their videos to condense months of character development and storylines into just a couple of minutes, more or less. One of the most effective ways to quickly explain a character or a gimmick to an audience is through a Superstar's entrance. The entrance music alone can tell the story (just think of the intensity of Stone Cold's breaking glass or the menacing bass line of Bray Wyatt), but we also have to give credit to the amazing entrance videos that play on WWE's giant HD Titantron screen. A creative entrance video can tell you everything you need to know about a Superstar before he even steps through the curtain, and oftentimes the video doesn't even include any wrestling action. These short 30 or so second videos are often little works of art in themselves and deserve some attention. So with that in mind, let's take a look at twenty five of the most effective and most memorable entrance videos to date.

25. Edge

Before he became the cocky and obnoxious "Rated R Superstar", Edge's original character in WWE was somewhat vague - he was a "tortured soul". While WWE wasn't clear exactly what that meant (even Edge himself was unsure), it was intriguing for the audience to see a mysterious tall figure prowling around the streets of New York City, lurking on bridges and rooftops, and exploding into sudden acts of violent rage. Was Edge a heel? If he wasn't, then why did we see him attacking a seemingly innocent man on the streets? Was he a loner? If so, who was the mysterious woman he was holding in his arms? The entrance video raised more questions than it was able to answer, and that was just perfect for an enigmatic newcomer like Edge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RixKGNNbtjE
