25 Greatest "Martial Arts" Wrestlers Ever

14. Steve Blackman

Style: Escrima, Tae Kwon Do Swords cut and clubs concuss, but everyone knows there's no weapon more lethal than Attitude Era fixture and Derrick Bateman punchline Steve Blackman. He was supposedly an unparalleled master of hand-to-hand combat, specifically escrima and tae kwon do, although it didn't stop him from basically working like your standard wrestler. He also had a pretty dismal record, losing to Ken Shamrock alone about 47 times. Maybe it was the ring that was throwing him off, because Blackman had his greatest success during the sadly-departed 24/7 era of the hardcore championship. He reigned for a combined 172 days, the most of any hardcore champion, probably because he was allowed to carry around a duffel bag of nunchucks at all times.
