When CM Punk returned from sabbatical and Brock Lesnar attacked him, it was only a matter of time until Paul Heyman's two clients would meet in the ring. After Heyman turned on Punk at Money In The Bank 2013, the animosity turned into a real blood feud, and a no disqualification match was made for SummerSlam.

Surprisingly, the scrappy Punk was able to hold his own with Lesnar, taking the punishment that The Beast dished out and coming back with weapon shots and high-risk attacks. The two brawled around the ring and back inside until finally, Punk managed to nail Lesnar with the GTS. He made the cover, but Heyman broke up the count.

Punk then put Lesnar in the Anaconda Vise, but Heyman attacked Punk again, breaking the hold. An angry Punk then put Heyman in the Anaconda Vise, but Lesnar took the opportunity to attack his opponent with a chair, then hit an F5 on the chair for the pin.
