Money In The Bank 2011 was one of the best events WWE ever put on, but the one unsatisfying climax of the night came in the Christian-Randy Orton match. An irate Orton kicked Christian low and, as per a pre-match stipulation, Christian won the World Heavyweight Title on a disqualification.

At SummerSlam, the two would have a rematch, and to make sure there was a decisive winner, the bout was a no disqualification contest.

Christian tried to bail on the match early, but Orton wouldn't let him leave. Orton pounded away on the champion, but when the action spilled to the outside, Christian shoved Orton shoulder-first into the ringpost. Christian kept working Orton over with a kendo stick, but Orton fought back, hitting an RKO on the announcers' table.

When both men re-entered the ring, Christian hit a Killswitch for two, then attempted a Con-Chair-To, but Orton escaped. He hit Christian with a chair, brought the ring steps inside, and when Christian dove off the second turnbuckle, hit an RKO on the steps.

That was enough for the pin, giving Orton the title and ending a great match.
