23. Hulk Hogan

The world saw more of Hulk Hogan's *ss than it really wanted to following the 2012 Gawker release of a controversial sex tape, but he wasn't showing any of it during his 1993 WWE comeback.

First orchestrating the destruction of his best friend's face to trigger a return to television, Hogan then stole Heavyweight Title glory at WrestleMania 9 only to never even appear on the show with the title between then and his June loss to Yokozuna.

His latter Raw exploits were thankfully more creditable. A 2002 face-off with The Rock was every bit the moment Jim Ross described it as, whilst his nostalgia returns for programmes with Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton and others weren't entirely charmless.

Not a man associated with Raw's halcyon days, he's still a force enough that fans either side of the East River would likely erupt for a Raw 25 surprise return.
